Friends, Families and Helpers

The people behind the scenes at Brow Wood are just as important as our residents who live here. They bring our community to life. Area architects have worked diligently to protect property values. Landscaping crews tend to yards and maintain common areas at Brow Wood, including the entrance, pavilion, garden and the pond.

Beyond the Brow Wood property lines are the students, faculty and staff of Covenant College, each of whom provides residents with stimulating discussions and lasting friendships. Many Brow Wood residents audit classes at Covenant College, attend cultural events and enjoy the college's state-of-the-art fitness center. We also host community cookouts, game nights, lawn games and hold special events which host people from other cities and states.

The Brow Wood residents have developed a close friendship with the community of Thrive, an assisted living community on the other side of Scenic Highway. Each Wednesday morning, the men of Brow Wood meet at Thrive for coffee, sweet rolls and join in a healthy discussion about current issues and topics.

A short twenty minutes drive down Lookout Mountain from Brow Wood is the vibrant downtown of Chattanooga, Tennessee. Voted by the readers of Outdoor Magazine as the top outdoor destination city in the country for two years in a row, Chattanooga is truly an up and coming outdoor city, filled with culture, dining and shopping.

The Brow Wood community is bigger than just the residents in the houses. It includes their friends, families and those who help work and maintain our properties.
